Photo Ready checklist

General Prep (Whole Home)

[ ] Turn ON all lights (including lamps & under-cabinet lighting) Turn OFF any ceiling fans

[ ] Replace any burnt-out bulbs (they should be the same color)

[ ] Open all blinds & curtains for natural light

[ ] Clean windows, mirrors, and all glass surfaces

[ ] Declutter surfaces (counters, nightstands, shelves, etc.)

[ ] Remove personal items (toothbrushes, medications, etc.) Including family pictures, images of children, images with any names, and firearms/home security items

[ ] Hide trash cans, laundry baskets, pet bowls, and toys

[ ] Tuck away cords (chargers, game systems, etc.)

[ ] Vacuum & mop floors, dust all surfaces

[ ] Turn off ceiling fans

Living Room

[ ] Fluff pillows and neatly fold throws

[ ] Organize coffee tables and remove clutter

[ ] Remove extra remotes, magazines, and mail

[ ] Tidy up shelves and mantels

Kitchen & Dining

[ ] Clear countertops completely (leave 1–2 decor pieces max)

[ ] Hide dish soap, sponges, drying racks, and trash bins

[ ] Clean appliances, especially stainless steel- no dish towels as cute as they are

[ ] Remove all items from the refrigerator front (magnets, papers)

[ ] clean dining table off completely

Bedrooms

[ ] Make beds neatly with smooth linens

[ ] Hide all personal items, including laundry

[ ] Clear off nightstands and dressers

[ ] Remove clutter under the bed if visible

Bathrooms

[ ] Close toilet lids- take distracting designs off of the back of your toilet

[ ] Clear counters completely- its great to hide items under the sink!

[ ] Remove bathmats, scales, and extra products

[ ] Hang fresh, neutral-colored towels neatly

[ ] Wipe mirrors and clean shower glass

Exterior & Curb Appeal

[ ] Park cars away from the driveway

[ ] Remove trash cans, hoses, and yard tools

[ ] Sweep porches, decks, and walkways

[ ] Mow the lawn & tidy landscaping (clean up any kid toys, pet toys)

[ ] Fluff outdoor pillows and straighten furniture
